Strong &

Heard

Teaching children how to care for

our people and our planet.

What’s our

‘why’?

Strong & Heard' exists to teach children how to care for our people and our planet.

We teach some of life’s most important lessons through our incursion program ‘The Chocolate Story’, as well as our educational resources and monthly newsletter. Strong & Heard lifts our children up to learn about the earth that sustains them and teaches them how to raise the voices of vulnerable communities around the world, particularly those that grow our food.

However you choose to put sustainability and social responsibility on your curriculum, we’ll be here to help you and your learners make the world a sweeter place.

What’s

everyone saying?

“The program provided some fantastic curriculum links to our health unit but would also suit a school interested in finding out about the geographical and historical background of chocolate during the age of exploration. Our students loved how hands-on the lollipop making session was and they were all talking about it for ages after!”

Siobhan Brooks

Learning & Pedagogy Support Leader

“The curriculum links to sustainability, history, economics and ethical values makes this incursion very worthwhile.”

Grade 3/4 Teacher

Surf Coast Victoria

“We loved the hands on activities and the learning was fun because it was interesting. Students were so engaged! We loved everything about the incursion!”

Annabelle Coombe

Grade 3/4 Teacher, Torquay

“Strong & Heard brilliantly uses chocolate as a powerful tool to educate children about social justice and sustainability, turning every bite into a lesson in ethical responsibility and global impact.”
